The Medal Winners of the 2002 Commonwealth Games of
Virginia Disc Golf Competition
The above left image is Amateur Medal winners, Andrew Kramer on the left, Silver Medal winner John Kramer Jr. in the middle, and Gold Medalist, John Kramer on the right. Thats right, all three medals were won by one family from Lynchburg Va. Not only were these guys good at Disc Golf, they are a blast to be around and great sportsmen. Peaks View is their home course. The above right image is the Mens Junior Division winner, Matthew Overacker, Age 6 from Roanoke VA..
The above left image is the Gold Medal for Womens Amateur
Division, won by Carleen Overacker of Roanoke, VA. She was not available for the
photo, as she broke her leg during the event and was in the Emergency Room at
the time the photo was taken. Get well soon, Carleen. The above right image
is Advanced Mens Division Medalists. On the left is John Overacker, Silver
Medalist, and on the right is Kevin Guthrie, Gold Medalist.
The above left image is Cheryl Kessler of Roanoke, VA, Gold Medalist in the Masters Womens Division. The above right image is the Mens Masters Division Winners. On the left is Gold Medalist, Charles Covey from Salem, VA. On the right is Alton Prillaman from Roanoke VA., winner of the Silver Medal. You cannot find two nicer people to join you in a round of Disc Golf.
