Astronomy Mobile Outreach Vehicle (AMOV)

First Outreach - Enchanted Evening - Vinton, Virginia - 12/31/2004

The War Memorial in Vinton. This was an outreach session on the evening of New Years Eve. The skies were mostly uncooperative, but the temperature was pleasant. Temps were in the upper 50's, which is great for December 31st. The scopes are, from L to R), and Orion 10" Dobsonian, my homebuilt 15" Dobsonian, and an 8" Celestron Dobsonian.	The AstroBus, Stargazer II, at the first outreach program for the vehicle. The  banner stretches nicely across the windshield. It was not open to the public, but at least one public observer used the steps as a handy seat.
